Executives from the 4 member alliances of Tortuga including MC,ODD,KAI and myself from DAI, got together and simply decided it was time for the standings reset. The forum trolls will however read anything they want into it or they would have nothing to do in EVE :P
Tortuga, by design will go forward as an neutral entity. Bob was red by virtue of the fact that we needed to remove them from period basis to secure space to call home. By the same token, the coalition was blue because they were killing Bob at the time and it seemed awefully silly that we kept killing them on thier way to Delve.
Now that the conflict is centered in Delve, and there is a pause in the fighting, it seemed as good a time as any to nuke the standings list and go about the business of securing our claim. Going forward, "blue" standings to a Tortugan entity will only come about as the result of terms of a contract. The blue status will only remain for the duration of the contract and will be only with the member(s) of Tortuga involved with said contract.
I now complete this brief insert of actual information and return you to the steaming pile of troll goo that seems to make up the bulk of COAD posts :)

So you're not giving c3n to bob then? Or are you giving it to them and getting nothing in return? Are you hoping bob doesn't attack your pos's, or are you just going to take on bob when they come for you? I'm legitimately interested in hearing your answer.
Is this kind of like the time Goonfleet gave Stain Empire that Dyspro moon in Esoteria in exchange for a POS-nap that ended up being broken three weeks later anyway?
Because they look very similar.

Because they look very similar.
Might be a decent analogy if this ever took place. It never went further than me (an FC, not a diplomat while a GS director) talking to SE out of greedy self interest in having a small break from POS warfare while tooling around our new space waiting for sov tickers to go up. Other directors weren't interested, so it never happened and SE eventually took them.
The way I heard it, you guys didn't want a second front opening with SE in Esoteria and Feythabolis, so you offered them the Dyspro moon if they agreed to advance no further. Since it was hard enough getting gangs up for Delve action, there's no way in hell people would be willing to go to Esoteria to bail out a private moon-mining POS, so you had nothing to lose anyway. Seems like a pretty reasonable story to me.
